Visiting us soon? Big changes are happening...

We are delighted that work has begun to transform the theatre into a cultural community hub with theatre at its core.

Things may look a little different from time to time if you are visiting us and we ask for your patience as we work alongside the contractors during this period.  As a charity dependent upon box office income for our revenue, we don’t have the luxury of closing while the work is done. Luckily our project team have devised a building programme which enables us to stay open for most of the year and still bring you the best in drama, comedy, family shows and excellent entertainment.

Please do ensure you read your emails from us closely, as things may vary from visit to visit, and we want to be sure of still giving you the most enjoyable experience.

Thank you in advance for your understanding. We know you will be excited to see this work in progress, and look forward, with us, to the major improvements which are on the way.

Changes to how we check your tickets

If your tickets were emailed to you when you booked, please have these ready to show on your phone, or print them at home.

We will be scanning them to help us advise you of the best way to reach your seats.

Temporary changes to facilities during your visit

There are still vital works being finished in our Main House toilets on all levels, which will be closed during your visit, except from one cubicle on the top floor.

Temporary toilet cubicles will be located at the front of the theatre, under the entrance canopy. The accessible toilet will be available as usual.

Cloakroom facilities will not be available, please do not bring large items, as we will not be able to look after them for you.
